Wildflower meadow in a Bristol garden

FAQs

We receive lots of enquiries, so we've jotted down the answers to our most frequently asked questions below. Please get in touch if you'd like to make a booking!

What areas do you cover?

We are based in South Bristol and cover all of Bristol as well as South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. We offer either a half or a full day to ensure we spend maximum time in your garden.

What do you do if it rains?

Generally, we don our waterproofs and crack on! However, if it's really wet there are some jobs that are best left for another day (like mowing lawns and working in borders). If the rain defeats us we may postpone but we will always book in another visit to finish off the job.

Do you take away green waste?

Yes, we are licensed to dispose of green waste. There is an additional charge for this service to cover our time and the cost of depositing the greenery at a licensed waste management site, where it is composted.

What are your fees?

Regular jobs are charged on a day/half day rate and invoiced monthly. One off jobs are subject to bespoke pricing depending on the task, a quote will be issued for approval prior to booking. Please enquire for prices.

Do you do small gardens?

We are a team of two, so we're best suited to gardens that require at least half a day of gardening. Most of our regular gardens tend to be larger, but we do one off, or less frequent tidy ups in a huge range of spaces.

Do you mow lawns?

We do, using a state of the art battery powered mower (which is quieter and better for the environment than petrol). However, if all you're after is a lawn mowing service, we may not be the best fit as we like to exercise our green fingers all over the garden!

Can you provide plants?

Yes! We have a network of fantastic local suppliers who have been providing us with plants and materials for many years, ensuring you get the best quality products for your garden, and delivery miles are kept to a minimum.

Do you do landscaping?

No, we don't offer hard landscaping services like paving, patios and decking. Wherever possible we like to add structure and interest through planting, though we are very happy to advise as to what hard landscaping might work for your garden.
