Meet The Bristol Gardeners
Piers
Piers is the original Bristol Gardener, and still heads up the team. His earliest memories include watching the butterflies feasting on the Buddleia, the seed helicopters falling from the two Ash trees (which doubled as goalposts), and retrieving footballs from the Geraniums without being caught by his folks. Now, an RHS qualified gardener with 15 years professional experience, he's proud to have built
The Bristol Gardener, devoting his time to the places he loves most.
What we do
We look after a huge range of green spaces in and around Bristol, for domestic and commercial clients alike, from colourful cottage gardens to meticulously designed country estates. This means getting the best out of the existing landscape as well as looking for ways to add interest and colour! We like to build strong relationships with clients to ensure you have a garden that works for you and looks great all year round.
Bill
In 2016, the team doubled in size when Bill joined to help cope with growing demand. RHS qualified and with a great eye for detail (thanks to a background in art), Bill added huge value to the operation. Eight years in, with hundreds of happy gardens and customers in their portfolio, and 10,000+ cups of tea consumed, Piers and Bill run a pretty tight ship. For bigger jobs, they are joined by florists and gardeners Jordan and Meg whose flair for colour and composition brings a whole new dimension!
Our ethos
We believe that gardens should be both beautiful and sustainable, and through careful management, use of organic practices and good old fashioned hard work, this can be achieved in any space. Your garden can support your wellbeing, clean your air, provide sustainable ecosystems for a vast range of species, as well as being joyful and tranquil places to spend time in. We're here to make it happen.
